The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The needle lined trunk of an ancient and gigantic Saguaro Cactus in the Sonoran Desert is inhospitable looking, to say the least. Yet this rough, pocked surface reveals its own beauty in the tones of rust and green in the oblique light of late afternoon.
