I have always loved textures, because after all, they can be rich and compelling to contemplate. I consider texture to be the ubiquitous underpinning of form, a level of "art" in its own right. Weaves of are one kind of "texture" that I enjoy viewing, for their elegant, graceful and sculptural quality.
