My favorite times of day are transitional times. More specifically, sunrise and sunset. As the light emerges or fades, new mysteries become palpable, especially in the forest overlooking a lake. The hush that falls over the world with twilight's fading, seems to me to be a holy time: a time for meditation and gratitude.
