Description

I have used filter effects to add drama to my photo Light Touch 4, which I had previously uploaded to this site. I wanted to accentuate the grace of the Blue Yucca leaves and their dimensional, almost weaving quality. I love the delicate fanning effect of the Blue Yucca, as well.

The composition is unusual for minimalism, but the simplicity of the subject and tones qualifies it for me. Lovely lines - the leaves do appear to be woven together. In the Best of Minimalism group, features depend on nominations by members; this is one of my two pod's for December 17.
