This colorful acrylic painting has both geometric and biomorphic features. Hence my coined term "Metrimorphic." I enjoy the bright colors floating on the surface of this composition, as well as the more subdued hues beneath them, just barely visible, emerging out of the black underpainting.
I used this image on the invitation to my last solo show, as it's one of my favorites. Its dynamically balanced cacophany of forms will appeal in its whimsy and colors, to the eyes of any child. Try it on a poster for your grandchild's room!
